FAMILIES GO GLAMPING AT PAWS UP’S NEW "RIVER CAMP"

Luxury Camping Along the Banks of the Blackfoot River

Greenough, Montana – March 25, 2008 – First of all, clear your mind of every negative you ever associated with camping. Throw out the memories of bulging backpacks, sodden canvas and sleepless nights burrowed deep in insufficient sleeping bags. Then substitute these nightmares with 270-square foot safari tents complete with plumbing, four-poster feather beds, waiter service, gourmet meals, a roof of stars and the soft chuckle of a river. Are you there yet? If so, you have a pretty good mental picture of the new tented River “Camp” The Resort at Paws Up is opening this summer right on the banks of the Blackfoot River.

Similar to Paws Up’s wildly successful Tent City, River Camp will boast six new riverside residences unlike any tented accommodations guests have seen before, especially the two 468-square foot tent suites fit for a family of four with separately attached ‘kids quarters.’ In the way of comforts the safari-style accommodations are outfitted with electricity, feather beds, western chic furniture, and private decks. Within steps from each tent River Camp guests will have access to private master bathrooms, a dining pavilion where culinary innovations are prepared for guests, and even their own personal butler.

River Camp at Paws Up is the perfect answer for families who want to experience activities and adventure with their children. Personal guides are on hand for fly-fishing lessons and in addition, Paws Up offers one of the largest menus of wilderness activities in North America from horseback riding and mountain biking to sporting clays and ATV adventures. Most activities are suitable for kids ages seven and over, enabling parent and child to actively vacation together. Younger campers can aspire to be cowboys and cowgirls or the next Lewis & Clark explorers with Paws Up’s Kids Corps of Discovery program.

River Camp opens June 2008 and will be available through late-September. Rates start at $670 per night, double occupancy and includes three-meals daily- Children three and under eat for free. The Resort at Paws Up is open year-round. Visit www.PawsUp.com or call 800-473-0601 for more information and reservations.
